A Winter Storm Keeps Us Home
And Sophia turns 7 months this morning! Refusing to sleep, she played with just about every toy we have. And had oatmeal with prunes for breakfast (as evident on her face) as well as a full bottle of milk! WHY won't you sleep???? :-) Worth noting below - in the black and white picture, open it to look at her tongue. She's got it flipped in her mouth like only some people can do - that hereditary tongue thing. Cool.
Sophia Gets Baptised
This was a huge weekend for Sophia! First, Grammy and Grandpa came into town and spent some days. Then we had a photo shoot at Olan Mills for Grandpa's birthday present - but we can't post the pix yet until he gets them - so you'll have to stay tuned :) And then, on Sunday, Sophia's family and friends came to watch her get baptised and have a little party in her honor. Her Great Grandfather even made the trip from Maryland - a huge feat! Below are some pictures that I've tweaked, but obviously, not all of them. Thanks to all who could come!
Sometimes, eating is the MOST fun!
My little peanut loves to eat. But, see, here's the thing...she only likes to eat things with TEXTURE. So therefore, we are out of Stage One and Two and into Stage Three and "people food." As you can see below, she's becoming quite adept at using the mesh feeding bag (those are grapes in there) and also quite skilled at making a mess with the biter buscuits. She also came into work with me today - for my last day there. Hence the beautiful little polka dotted dress! That's a pic of daddy "flying her." Oh yeah, and today is Grandpa's birthday - so i put a few pics up there of him too :)
